rich historical environment, diverse menu variety in pub, spacious room accommodations
Improve cleanliness in corners of rooms!!! Address the chaos from the pub and street noise during late hours for better sleep quality!!! It would be beneficial to enhance the check-in process rather than forcing guests through a busy pub entrance!!!

I had a delightful time at The Guildhall And Linen Exchange! The homemade soup was a cozy treat on a chilly day, and I loved exploring the nearby spots like Bob and Berts and Caffe Nero. The room was clean and the bathroom modern, which really added to my experience.
However, check-in was a bit of a trek through the busy pub, and getting luggage up to the top floor was an adventure with a broken lift button. Plus, after a late night, the noise from the pub made it hard to catch some Z's.

Recommend it for groups looking for value
Everything was clean and the bathroom was really spacious which was a surprise! The staff were friendly and made check-in super smooth, even spotted me a table to sit at when I went back for my bags.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for what you get.

comfortable room but noisy surroundings
The bed was extremely comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day. The room had all necessary amenities, which made for a pleasant stay. Despite the busy area outside, I found the check-in process smooth and efficient, allowing me to settle in quickly. I appreciated the peace and quiet in the room, which allowed for undisturbed sleep.
The outside noise could be bothersome at times.

The spacious family room was a highlight, featuring a new, clean bathroom and a great view from the window. The friendly staff provided excellent advice on nearby car parking, enhancing the stay experience. However, check-in could be more efficient, as navigating from the locked reception area into the busy bar proved challenging. A couple of other issues included the noise from an outside fan that interrupted sleep at night and the freezing temperature in the bathroom.
